Our wingback ottoman beds pair a tall, tailored headboard with curved side wings and full gas-lift storage underneath. Every bed is handmade to order in our Birmingham workshop, so you can choose the size, fabric and colour that suit your bedroom.

Why choose a wingback ottoman bed?

The wings wrap around the top of the bed, which frames your pillows, gives a cosy, enclosed feel and makes the bed the centrepiece of the room. Underneath, the whole base lifts on gas struts, giving you a large storage space for bedding, cases and seasonal clothes without needing extra furniture.

Headboard styles

  • Fluted and channelled: vertical panels for a modern, tailored look, such as the Genoveva and Pepita.
  • Buttoned and tufted: a classic, hotel-style finish with deep buttoning.
  • Horizontal panels: soft, stacked panels, such as the Emmeline and Svea.
  • Plain: clean, simple lines that let the fabric do the talking.

Built to last

Each frame is triple-reinforced with steel bars and sits flat on the floor with no legs, so it stays solid and quiet. The gas-lift mechanism opens smoothly and holds the base up while you reach inside.

Fabrics and colours

Choose from Atlanta Soft Teddy, Smooth Velvet, Linen-Textured, Chenille and Wool-Textured Tweed in a wide range of colours. Not sure which to pick? Order free fabric samples and see them at home first.

Frequently asked questions

Is a wingback bed wider than a standard bed?
Yes. The wings add about 10cm to the overall width, so allow a little extra space when measuring your room. Exact dimensions are shown on each product page.

How tall are the headboards?
Headboard heights range from around 112cm up to 210cm, depending on the design. Extra-high styles suit rooms with taller ceilings.

How much storage is there?
The whole base lifts up, giving storage across the full length and width of the bed. Some designs offer extra-deep storage.

Can I see the beds before I buy?
