Why Buy Our Handcrafted Ottoman Storage Beds? | Hush My Bed

The Triple-Reinforced Frame Difference

Unlike standard bed frames that rely on flimsy legs and cheap composite woods, our Ottoman Storage Beds feature a Triple-Reinforced Frame. Built right here in the West Midlands, we utilize high-quality built-in slats supported by full-length ultra heavy-duty steel bars. Secured with heavy-duty bolts and stamped tee nuts, this commercial-grade engineering ensures your bed's core components will never fail, squeak, or sag under our heavy luxury mattresses. Built to truly last a lifetime, our beds provide an exceptionally eco-friendly foundation for your home.

Slatted Base vs Solid Boarded Lift

Our beds feature high-quality wooden slats built directly into the frame, reinforced in the centre with steel bars for maximum durability. This slatted design offers real benefits over a solid boarded lift mechanism:

• Superior Strength: The steel frame provides a much stronger, more rigid foundation.
• Enhanced Airflow: The spaced wooden slats allow your mattress to breathe naturally, improving hygiene and lifespan.

Unmatched Strength: Are Ottoman Beds Sturdy and Good for Heavy People?

Many buyers worry that storage beds might be flimsy. Mass-produced frames are often manufactured overseas using automated processes and fragile slat systems that warp or fail under the weight of a high-quality mattress. Our Ottoman Storage Beds and Divan Beds are built differently:

• No Flimsy Legs: We do not rely on the weak, screw-in legs sold by the majority of other UK sellers. Your bed provides an immovable, rock-solid foundation.
• Girder-Like Support: The thick steel bars act like industrial girders, firmly holding up the frame and preventing wobble or bending over time.
• Massive Weight Capacity: Because of our commercial-grade engineering, our beds are perfect for heavier individuals and are engineered to effortlessly support heavy mattresses without sagging.

Peace and Quiet: Are Ottoman Beds Squeaky or Noisy?

There is nothing worse than a bed that creaks every time you turn over. Handcrafted by master craftsmen right here in Birmingham, our frames rely on time-honoured traditional joinery. We use heavy-duty bolts and tee nuts stamped directly through the frame. This ensures your bed's core components will never fail, squeak, or rub, guaranteeing a silent night's sleep.
