- Loosen the pre-installed engineering bolts on the headboard and footboard.
- Slot in the side rails and tighten the bolts securely.
- Place the metal centre support rail into its brackets.
- Lay out the solid wooden slats and fix them with the provided screws—and you're done!

Based on current UK interior design trends for 2024–2026, the UK market is currently shifting away from the "grey-on-grey" look of the last decade, moving toward warmth, texture, and "quiet luxury."
1. Popular Upholstery Fabrics
British homeowners are prioritizing "tactile" fabrics—materials that feel good to touch—alongside durability for family life.
- Bouclé: A looped yarn fabric that looks nubby and textured. It is incredibly popular in the UK right now for accent chairs and curved sofas, adding a cozy, "cocooning" feel.
- Velvet: A perennial UK favourite, but the style has shifted. Matte/Cotton Velvet is less shiny and more sophisticated. Corduroy Velvet is a major trend for 2025, offering a retro 70s vibe with high durability.
- Linen (and Linen Blends): The go-to for a relaxed, "modern rustic" or country-house look. Blends (e.g., linen-viscose) are preferred over pure linen as they wrinkle less and are more durable.
