Description

Engineered for Silent Nights & Maximum Rigidity

Standard mass-produced bed frames often use cheap automated joints, fragile hollow slats, and weak screw-in legs that rock, squeak, and sag. The Teodora Upholstered Bed Frame by Hush My Bed is built as a permanent furniture investment.

Triple-Reinforced Frame

Centred with an ultra-rigid, full-length steel support bar to prevent sagging under heavy luxury mattresses.

Zero Squeak Joinery

Traditional West Midlands joinery with heavy-duty bolts and stamped tee-nuts that never work loose or creak.

Engineered for Weight

Rock-solid foundation explicitly designed for heavy individuals and deep pocket-sprung mattress support.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Teodora bed suitable for heavier people?
Yes. The Teodora platform bed frame features a solid timber internal structure, reinforced corner joints, solid wood slats, and a full-length heavy-duty steel center rail that safely supports substantial weight and heavy mattresses without bending or creaking.

Can I upgrade this bed frame to an Ottoman Storage Bed?
Yes. We can manufacture this design as an ottoman storage base with gas-lift pistons, providing deep storage for extra bedding, suitcases, and pillows. Browse our ottoman storage bed collection for dedicated storage options.

Are Ottoman Beds squeaky or noisy?
No. Cheaper imported beds squeak when joints rub together under friction. Because our frames are manufactured in our Birmingham workshop with heavy-duty through-frame bolts and stamped tee-nuts, the joints remain silent.

What is the lead time for custom headboard heights?
Because all items are made to order in our Highgate workshop, custom headboard heights between 112cm and 182cm are crafted and dispatched within our standard delivery timelines.

UK Bedroom Design Trends

The Teodora coordinates with modern UK interior design movements:

Cocooning Textures: Teddy Bouclé, Chenille, and Chunky Tweeds create soft, tactile bedrooms with relaxing organic textures.
Warm Earthy Neutrals: Shades such as Mink, Biscuit, Oatmeal, and Sand Tweed complement soft ambient lighting and natural wood accents.
Statement Headboards: Taller bespoke headboards (up to 182cm) frame high-ceiling rooms and serve as a plush architectural focal point.
