The Carlton Ribbed Panel Bed Headboard pairs a calm centrepiece with crisp, layered detail. A broad, smooth padded panel sits in the middle, flanked on each side by wide vertical panels separated by slim, rounded ribs.

The alternating wide and narrow lines create a striking striped rhythm, and both sides mirror each other perfectly for a balanced, tailored look. The plain centre panel shows off your chosen fabric, while the ribbed sides add depth and a touch of Art Deco style. With its clean rectangular outline, it works just as well in a classic panelled bedroom as in a modern one.

At 70cm high, the Carlton is designed to sit just above the mattress, so you see the full height of the design. It fits easily to standard divan beds using the wooden fixing struts supplied, or it can be fixed to the wall with the optional wall fixing brackets.

Built to last

Every Carlton headboard is made to order by our own team in Birmingham. Each one is padded with thick foam and hand upholstered, with each slim rib rolled and fitted between the wider panels by hand, so the stripes stay straight and evenly spaced from top to bottom.

The Carlton is shown here in Ivory Atlanta, Ivory, Grey velvet and Teal Atlanta fabric. Soft velvets give the rounded ribs a gentle sheen, while textured fabrics such as linen and chenille make the stripes feel more relaxed. Choose from our Smooth Velvet, Teddy, Linen, Chenille and Wool fabric collections to match your bedroom. Colours on screen are a guide only.

Yes. The Carlton headboard is supplied with wooden fixing struts that fit standard divan beds. At 70cm high it is designed to sit just above the mattress, so the ribbed side panels frame your pillows on both sides.
