The Basil day bed is a sofa by day and a comfortable single bed by night, with a jumbo storage drawer hidden underneath. Its fluted backrest and plain padded arms make it a stylish centrepiece for a guest room, home office, teenager’s bedroom or snug.

The jumbo drawer glides out on castors and is supplied fully assembled, ready to use straight away. It is the perfect place for spare duvets, pillows, towels, toys or clothes, so the room stays tidy whether the Basil is being used as a sofa or a bed.

Built to last

The Basil is handmade to order in our Birmingham workshop. The mattress sits on solid wooden slats with a centre support bar for firm, even support, and the frame is held together with heavy-duty bolts and tee nuts, so it stays strong and quiet. The main frame is quick and simple to assemble, and the drawer arrives ready to use.
