Bold, elegant and full of Art Deco character, the Aura makes a real statement. Its headboard is upholstered in deep vertical fluting, and the same fluting continues on the high 52cm footboard, so the bed looks finished from every angle. Choose slim gold or chrome accent lines set between the flutes for a touch of glamour, or no accents for a cleaner, plain look. Choose a headboard height from 112cm to 182cm to suit your room, then pick from our huge range of fabrics. Lift the mattress platform on its smooth gas struts to find a spacious storage area with a solid base, perfect for spare duvets, towels and out-of-season clothes. Every Aura is handmade to order in our Birmingham workshop.

Built to last

  • Triple-reinforced frame: heavy-duty steel bars run the full length of the bed for extra strength.
  • No legs: the bed sits directly on the floor, so there are no screw-in legs to wobble or snap.
  • Solid storage base: the storage area has a solid base, keeping stored items clean and off the floor.
  • Made for heavy mattresses: strong enough for heavier sleepers and deep, dense mattresses without sagging.
  • Quiet and solid: handmade in Birmingham using traditional joinery, heavy-duty bolts and tee nuts, so it does not squeak or rub.

Frequently asked questions

What does the Aura headboard look like?

The Aura has a headboard upholstered in deep vertical fluting, with a matching fluted 52cm footboard. You can add slim gold or chrome accent lines between the flutes, or choose no accents.

Can I choose gold or chrome accents?

Yes. Choose gold accents, chrome accents, or no accents with plain fluted lines.

What headboard heights can I choose?

The Aura headboard comes in 112cm, 130cm, 150cm, 164cm or 182cm, so you can keep it low under a window or go tall for a statement look.

Does the Aura have a footboard?

Yes. The Aura has a high 52cm footboard with the same vertical fluting as the headboard.

How does the storage open?

The mattress platform lifts up from the foot end on smooth gas struts, opening up the whole storage area underneath. The storage area has a solid base, so stored items stay clean and off the floor.

Is the Aura strong enough for heavier people and heavy mattresses?

Yes. The frame is triple-reinforced with heavy-duty steel bars running the full length of the bed, and it sits directly on the floor with no legs, so it stays solid and quiet.

How long does delivery take?

Delivery is normally within 2 weeks of your order. Delivery is free to mainland UK addresses.

Can I see the fabrics before I order?

Yes. You can order free fabric samples online, or visit our showroom at 24 Athole Street, Highgate, Birmingham, B12 0DA to see and feel every fabric.
