The Regina is a cocooning wingback bed with a soft, layered headboard. Padded channels run horizontally across its width, stacked one above the other like plump cushions, and the wings curve forward at each side to frame your pillows. A high 52cm footboard and fully upholstered side rails wrap the whole bed in the same fabric, giving it a seamless, tailored look from every angle. Underneath, the mattress platform lifts up to reveal a large storage space. Every Regina is handmade to order in our Birmingham workshop.

Built to last

Triple-reinforced frame: heavy-duty steel bars run the full length of the bed for extra strength.
No legs: the bed sits directly on the floor, so there are no screw-in legs to wobble or snap.
Made for heavy mattresses: strong enough for heavier sleepers and deep, dense mattresses without sagging.
Quiet and solid: handmade in Birmingham using traditional joinery, heavy-duty bolts and tee nuts, so it does not squeak or rub.

Frequently asked questions

What does the Regina headboard look like?

The Regina has a tall wingback headboard made of padded channels that run horizontally across its width, giving a soft, layered look. The wings curve forward at each side to frame the pillows.

Does the Regina have a footboard?

Yes. The Regina has a high 52cm footboard, and the side rails are fully upholstered in the same fabric, so the bed looks finished and seamless from every angle.

What headboard heights can I choose?

The Regina headboard comes in 112cm, 130cm, 150cm, 164cm or 182cm.

How much wider is the bed because of the wings?

The wings add 10cm to the overall width. For example, a 4ft6 Double is 155cm wide including the wings and a 5ft King is 171cm wide.

Is the Regina strong enough for heavier people and heavy mattresses?

Yes. The frame is triple-reinforced with heavy-duty steel bars running the full length of the bed, and it sits directly on the floor with no legs, so it stays solid and quiet.

How long does delivery take?

Delivery is normally within 2 weeks of your order. Delivery is free to all mainland UK addresses.

Can I see the fabrics before I order?

Yes. You can order free fabric samples online, or visit our showroom at 24 Athole Street, Highgate, Birmingham, B12 0DA to see and feel every fabric.
