The Carmela is a bed that turns heads. Its tall, square headboard is filled with padded channels that sweep down at an angle from each side and meet in the middle, creating a bold V design with a real Art Deco feel. The same angled channels are repeated on the 52cm footboard, so the bed looks just as good from the end of the room. Lift the mattress platform from the foot end on its smooth gas struts and you will find a spacious storage area with a solid base – perfect for spare duvets, towels and out-of-season clothes. Built to last

Triple-reinforced frame: heavy-duty steel bars run the full length of the bed for extra strength.
No legs: the bed sits directly on the floor, so there are no screw-in legs to wobble or snap.
Solid storage base: the storage area has a solid base, keeping stored items clean and off the floor.
Made for heavy mattresses: strong enough for heavier sleepers and deep, dense mattresses without sagging.
