Its tall wingback headboard is upholstered in wide, evenly spaced padded channels that run from top to bottom, framed by smooth wings that flare gently outwards around your pillows. At the foot end, a plain, low 30cm footboard keeps the look clean and lets the headboard take centre stage. Choose a headboard height from 112cm to 182cm to suit your room, then pick from our huge range of fabrics. Lift the mattress platform on its smooth gas struts to find a spacious storage area with a solid base, perfect for spare duvets, towels and out-of-season clothes. Every Adele is handmade to order in our Birmingham workshop.

The Adele has a plain, low 30cm footboard with no channels, which keeps the foot end clean and simple and lets the headboard stand out.
Both are wingback ottoman beds with vertical channels. The Adele has wider padded channels and a plain, low 30cm footboard, while the Carla has deeper, narrower fluting and a high 52cm fluted footboard.
The wingback design adds 10cm to the overall width. For example, a 4ft6 Double is 155cm wide including the wings and a 5ft King is 171cm wide.
The mattress platform lifts up from the foot end on smooth gas struts, opening up the whole storage area underneath. The storage area has a solid base, so stored items stay clean and off the floor.
Yes. The frame is triple-reinforced with heavy-duty steel bars running the full length of the bed, and it sits directly on the floor with no legs, so it stays solid and quiet.
