The Oria is all about height and clean lines. Its headboard is built from deep, padded vertical channels that run from top to bottom, drawing the eye upwards and giving the bed a tall, tailored presence. Choose a headboard up to 210cm high for a hotel-style statement, or a lower height for a smaller room. The same fabric wraps the whole base for a smooth, seamless finish, and the mattress platform lifts on gas pistons to reveal a large storage space underneath. Every Oria is handmade to order in our Birmingham workshop.

Built to last

Triple-reinforced frame: heavy-duty steel bars run the full length of the bed for extra strength.
No legs: the bed sits directly on the floor, so there are no screw-in legs to wobble or snap.
Made for heavy mattresses: strong enough for heavier sleepers and deep, dense mattresses without sagging.
Quiet and solid: handmade in Birmingham using traditional joinery, heavy-duty bolts and tee nuts, so it does not squeak or rub.

Frequently asked questions

What headboard heights can I choose?

The Oria headboard comes in 130cm, 150cm, 170cm, 190cm or 210cm. The taller heights make a real statement in rooms with high ceilings. The footboard is 30cm high.

What does the Oria headboard look like?

The headboard is made of deep, padded vertical channels that run from top to bottom, giving a tall, structured look. The same fabric wraps the whole base for a clean, seamless finish.

How does the storage open?

Pull the easy-grip handle and the mattress platform lifts on gas-lift pistons. It rises smoothly and stays open while you reach the storage space underneath.

Is the Oria strong enough for heavier people and heavy mattresses?

Yes. The frame is triple-reinforced with heavy-duty steel bars running the full length of the bed, and it sits directly on the floor with no legs, so it stays solid and quiet.

Which mattress should I buy with it?

Any standard UK mattress in your bed size will fit. Popular choices are the Allure Memory Foam 1000 Pocket Sprung and the Reverie Memory Foam 2000 Pocket mattresses.

How long does delivery take?

Delivery is normally within 2 weeks of your order. Delivery is free to all mainland UK addresses.

Can I see the fabrics before I order?

Yes. You can order free fabric samples online, or visit our showroom at 24 Athole Street, Highgate, Birmingham, B12 0DA to see and feel every fabric.
