The Genoveva is one of our most dramatic beds, designed to fill a bedroom wall like a boutique hotel suite. Its tall headboard is built from plump, rounded vertical channels and stretches well beyond the mattress on both sides, forming two 65cm bedside panels that frame your bedside tables and lamps. At each end it curves forward into a soft wing, wrapping the bed in a sense of calm and privacy. The low 40cm footboard picks up the same rounded channels, so the bed looks just as striking from the foot as from the head. Underneath, an extra deep base gives you more storage than a standard ottoman, and the whole mattress platform lifts on gas pistons. Every Genoveva is handmade to order in our Birmingham workshop.

Sizes and dimensions

The two bedside panels add 130cm to the overall width, so please measure your wall before ordering. Headboard heights: 130cm, 150cm, 170cm, 190cm or 210cm. Footboard: 40cm.

• No legs: the bed sits directly on the floor, so there are no screw-in legs to wobble or snap.

What makes the Genoveva headboard different?

The Genoveva headboard is much wider than the bed. It carries on past each side as a 65cm bedside panel, so your bedside tables sit in front of it, and it finishes in curved wings at both ends. The whole headboard is made of rounded vertical channels.

How wide is the Genoveva with the bedside panels?

The two bedside panels add 130cm to the overall width. For example, a 4ft6 Double is 275cm wide in total and a 5ft King is 291cm wide. Please measure your wall before ordering.

What headboard heights can I choose?

The Genoveva headboard comes in 130cm, 150cm, 170cm, 190cm or 210cm. The footboard is 40cm high, with the same rounded channels as the headboard.

What does extra deep storage mean?

The Genoveva has a taller base than our standard ottoman beds, so there is more room underneath for bulky items like suitcases, spare duvets and pillows. The mattress platform lifts on gas-lift pistons for easy access.

Is the Genoveva strong enough for heavier people and heavy mattresses?

Yes. The frame is triple-reinforced with heavy-duty steel bars running the full length of the bed, and it sits directly on the floor with no legs, so it stays solid and quiet.

How long does delivery take?

Delivery is normally within 2 weeks of your order. Delivery is free to all mainland UK addresses.
